Studio Closing

Attn: Clients, Family, & Friends

We will be closing our photography studio on January 27th. I am so grateful for all the wonderful cheer, kindness, and support you have shown myself and my studio staff.

With a new year comes new doors and new ways to move forward. I am looking forward to spending more time with my family in the coming years. My daughter will be a high school senior this school year, and i don't want to miss a moment. The most incredible thing I have experienced over the years as a photographer is watching all your children and families grow and seeing how blessed we all are.

With one door closing, there is always one to open. My assistant and associate photographer, Mary-Spencer Alexander will be taking on the role of an on-location photographer. She will be available for all your upcoming portrait needs. She has worked for me for several years now and as her employer and instructor I have full confidence that she will take care of you in the future, just as I have in the past.

Thank you all again for supporting me in this journey. I have truly enjoyed being the family photographer for so many of you. I hope all the best for you and yours.

A note from Mary Spencer:

After working with Courtney for over 5 years, I was extremely sad to learn she had decided to close her doors. I will miss working with her on a daily basis. She has truly been an amazing boss and mentor. Knowing that this is the right move for her does make it easier. The fact that she has complete confidence in me to take on the photography business means the world to me.

While the studio will be closing, I will be taking appointments for on-location and in-home sessions. I will still offer many of the same services as Courtney, including a complimentary consultation to discuss things prior to booking your shoot. There will also be some things changing and a few new options available.

 

As most of you already know me from coming to the studio, shoots, and sales sessions; I hope to continue our relationship as well as meet some new faces. I would like to thank Courtney for being an excellent teacher, the continuing mentor sessions, and the amazing opportunity she has given me. I am very excited for both of us. Courtney - Enjoy this time with your family and call me often!!

We will be selling all past sessions (if available), full resolution, on a disc with copyright release so you may print, share, and save them as needed. Images will be available for purchase until February 28th. Mary-Spencer will be available to assist you if needed for sizing, cropping, and creating special products such as albums, announcements, etc...

Image disk pricing will depend on when your images were taken and the type of session, please see below for guidelines:

Current - 2011 Sessions: $500

2010 Sessions: $300

2009 - and older: $150

Mini Sessions will be priced depending on type, but will average $75

We will also offer a "bundle discount" for those of you have been coming to Courtney often. Contact the studio for more details.
